1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Virtual Tabletop (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Virtual Tabletop is a free web application designed for tabletop roleplaying games. The Service provides:

  • Character sheet creation and management
  • Campaign organization tools
  • Shared VTT rooms with real-time WebSocket communication
  • Dice rolling functionality
  • Map and visual tools

The creator may add optional donation features via platforms like Ko-fi or Patreon in the future, but no payment processing is currently active.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

You may be required to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. AGE REQUIREMENTS

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 13 years old; OR
  • If you are between 13 and 16 years old (depending on your EU member state's implementation of GDPR Article 8), you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service; OR
  • If you are under 13 years old, you are using the Service under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian who has accepted these Terms on your behalf.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of applicable laws
  • Upload or transmit malicious content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to obtain source code
  • Use the Service to harass or harm others

Content you upload must not:

  • Contain illegal material
  • Violate others' intellectual property rights
  • Contain malware or harmful code

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Service content, features, and functionality are owned by the creator and protected by intellectual property laws. Your game content (characters, campaigns, stories) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host and display it within the Service.

7. USER GENERATED CONTENT

You retain all rights to any content you create, upload, or submit to the Service. You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of sharing it. You agree that your content will not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be in violation of these Terms or harmful to the Service or other users.

8. LOCAL AI MODELS FOR DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

We utilize locally-hosted artificial intelligence models exclusively for:

  • Debugging assistance and error analysis
  • Development support and code improvement
  • Internal quality assurance processes

These models operate solely on our internal servers and do not process any personal user data. All AI processing is performed on anonymized, aggregated logs or synthetic test data. No user-generated content, account information, or personal data is ever transmitted to or processed by these AI systems.

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Service is provided AS IS without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free access
  • That the Service will meet your requirements
  • That defects will be corrected
  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided through the Service

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data arising from your use of the Service
  • Problems caused by factors outside our control
  • Any claims arising from your user-generated content

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Virtual Tabletop, its operator, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right
  • Your user-generated content

12. MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, without notice, for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@ggally.net.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Italy.

15. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where such failure is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, internet service provider failures, or denial of service attacks.
